Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a meticulous Human Resources/Payroll Clerk to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is pivotal responsible for onboarding and orientation for new employees, as well as, ensuring accurate and timely timecard data entry within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position requires working 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new employees, running orientations, and processing new hire paperwork
  • Audit and data entry of employee timecards with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills for data management and reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the payroll process.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
  • Assist with additional payroll & HR related tasks as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • High School diploma is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or payroll processing.
  • Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift 6:30 am - 3:30 pm

Location

Phoenix, AZ, 100% in-office.

Salary: 47k - 50k
